Ronaldo wants De Bruyne at Al-Nassr

According to Mundo Deportivo, Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to sign Kevin De Bruyne when the contract between the Belgian playmaker and Manchester City expires at the end of this season.

Come next summer, De Bruyne will have spent exactly a decade with the Premier League champions, having joined from Wolfsburg back in 2015. Since then, he s made an unbelievable total of 274 goal contributions (103 goals, 171 assists) in 388 matches in all competitions for City, winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and the 2023 Champions League, followed by the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Rightly considered among the best attacking midfielders in the world, it s easy to understand a goalscorer like Ronaldo wanting such a playmaker in hi…

Shaqiri says ´nothing more brutal´ than penalty heartache as Switzerland exit Euro 2024

Xherdan Shaqiri said there is nothing more brutal than losing on penalties after Switzerland s dream run at Euro 2024 was ended by England in the last eight.

Having eliminated champions Italy in the last 16, Switzerland were on course for a semi-final berth when Breel Embolo put them ahead with 75 minutes played on Saturday.

However, Bukayo Saka dragged the Three Lions level within five minutes, and after another 40 goalless minutes, Gareth Southgate s men held their nerve from 12 yards.

Manuel Akanji was denied by Jordan Pickford from Switzerland s first penalty, with every other kick being converted as England won on spot-kicks for just the fourth time in their history and the second time versus Switzerland (also in the Nations League in 2019).

12-12-2009 Sunderland vs Portsmouth

Sunderland Portsmouth is an interesting match up with Portsmouth looking much better under new boss Avram Grant and Sunderland hoping to maintain their impressive home form and steer away from lacklustre performances the fans have seen on the road.

It s been an up and down campaign for Sunderland so far this year with high profile wins against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal at The Stadium of light somewhat nullified by poor away performances against the Wigan and Birmingham. Steve Bruce will be hoping for a reaction to last weeks defeat at the hands of Fulham and will be looking for a forty five thousand strong crowd to get right behind their team, knowing that the true Sunderland team has only really shown up at home games this season. Sunderland have their injury difficul…

49ers vs Titans Thursday Night Football Picks and Predictions: Niners Keep Rolling in Tennessee

This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features a pair of teams trending in completely opposite directions with their postseason hopes hanging in the balance.

The San Francisco 49ers have won five of six to climb into the sixth spot in the NFC while the Tennessee Titans’ hold on the top spot in the AFC South suddenly looks tenuous after losing three of four.

But are the Titans a live home dog? Find out in our free NFL betting picks and predictions for 49ers vs. Titans on Thursday, December 23.

Thanksgiving Day NFL Parlay Picks: Thankful for Turkey Totals

An American tradition continues this Thursday, as the NFL presents its annual trio of Thanksgiving Day football games.

As usual, the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys will have hosting duties in the afternoon, with the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants serving as their respective opponents. The third and final course will be a primetime affair between the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings.

I’ve taken a liking to all three totals on this Turkey Day slate, and will separate them over two NFL Thursday parlays. I’ll also fold in a quarterback prop wager.

Ravens vs Jaguars SNF Prop Bets: Lawrence Limited by Stingy Baltimore D

There’s plenty on the line for Sunday Night Football’s Week 15 odds.

The Baltimore Ravens are chasing down the top seed in the AFC, as they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are experiencing turbulence in trying to land the plane for a division title in the AFC South.

Two straight losses for the Jags are part of the reason they’re 3.5-point home dogs in the NFL odds.

Ravens vs Packers Prediction, Picks & Odds for This Week’s NFL Preseason Game

The final week of the NFL preseason continues Saturday afternoon with a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers.

Given the lack of starters in this game, our Ravens vs. Packers predictions have us backing the Under in a low-event type game.

My analysis

The Baltimore Ravens have not played any of their starters in the preseason this year and that will continue Saturday. This means Josh Johnson will likely get the start again with rookies Devin Leary and Emory Jones finishing things up in a battle for that third quarterback spot. Against the Falcons last week,…

Everton v Watford: match preview

There appears little respite for Claudio Ranieri as he follows a painful unveiling at Vicarage Road with a trip to Goodison Park. Watford were as abysmal as Liverpool were formidable last week but, having had an extra week to work with a team that has won once in seven games, the Italian will expect a response against an injury-hit Everton. Likewise Rafael Benítez. A first home defeat of the season was followed by the sizeable loss of Abdoulaye Doucouré and more bad news on Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s fitness, though Richarlison is available for the first time in almost six weeks. Klopp calms concern over Salah’s Liverpool future after outburst

Jürgen Klopp has said there are no concerns over Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool despite the forward’s devastation at missing out on Champions League football next season.

Liverpool’s leading goalscorer made clear his frustration in a strongly worded tweet after Manchester United’s 4-1 defeat of Chelsea on Thursday, a result that confirmed Klopp’s team will not compete in the Champions League for the first time in seven seasons next term. Salah, who signed a new three-year contract last summer, said he was “totally devastated” and “there’s absolutely no excuse for this”.
